Wednesday – The first day of Family Day Events
Family Orientation Day

6:00 am to 8:00 pm – Marine Corps Exchange Open
6:00 am to 3:00 pm – Marine Corps Exchange Food Court Open
7:00 am to 5:00 pm – Engraving Shop Open
7:30 am to 4:00 pm –  Register when you arrive at the Douglas Visitors Center
8:00 am to 2:30 pm – Java Café open
10:00 am to 12:00 pm – Marine Corps 101 Brief at the Douglas Visitors Center including a behind the scenes tour.  This is a free event, but seating is limited so sign up for tickets as soon as possible to guarantee seating.
Lunch
1:30 pm to 2:30 pm – Family Orientation Brief at the Lyceum

Thursday – Family Liberty Day

6:00 am to 4:00 pm –  Register when you arrive at the Douglas Visitors Center
6:00 am to 3:00 pm – Java Cafe Open
6:00 am to 8:00 pm – Marine Corps Exchange Open
6:00 am to 3:00 pm – Marine Corps Exchange Food Court Open
7:00 am to 5:00 pm – Engraving Shop Open
*  7:00 am – Motivational Run – Peatross Parade Deck
8:00 am – Parris Island Museum open
9:30 am – 10:00 am – Battalion Commander’s Brief to Families & Liberty Ceremony (AWTF)
10:00 am – Liberty begins
Lunch – Family Day Buffet at Traditions, food court, Subway, Golf Course, Java Cafe, The Bunker (Food Trucks)
3:00 pm – Liberty ends
4:00 pm – 4:30 pm – Command Reception with Depot Command Members
4:30 – Command Welcome Remarks
4:45 pm – Family Day Dinner with Depot command at Traditions, pre-purchased tickets required.

Friday

6:00 am to 12:00 pm – Douglas Visitors Center Open – Please register when you arrive
6:00 am to 12:00 pm – Graduation Station open
6:00 am to 12 Noon – Java Café
6:00 am to 10:00 pm – Marine Corps Exchange Open
6:00 am to 6:00 pm – Marine Corps Exchange Food Court Open
7:00 am to 5:00 pm – Engraving Shop Open
7:45 am – Morning Colors at Barrow Hall
9:00 am to 10:00 am – Graduation at Peatross Parade Deck (weather permitting)

MCCS Event Schedule

* Motivational Run takes place at 7:00 a.m during daylight savings time, then moves to 7:15 a.m. when we return to standard time in the Fall.
