Visiting Groups – Not Including Groups Visiting for Recruit Graduation

If your group is planning a visit to Parris Island, and you wish to have an organized escorted tour, please fill out the Parris Island Group Visit Request Form and e-mail to PARR_SMB_MCRDPI_VISITS@usmc.mil or fax to 843-228-3024 While planning your group visit, keep these things in mind:

* Visitors for Parris Island Recruit Graduations do not need to fill out the Parris Island Group Visit Request Form.  This form is for other Eligible groups

* You must submit the official request form at least 40 days before your planned visit

* Once you send the form, you have 24 hours to confirm your request with base personnel by calling Call (843) 228-3349 Mon – Fri 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

* The base does not conduct tours on weekends or holidays

* Group tours are granted on a case by case basis for eligible groups

* Eligible groups include JROTC, ROTC, reunion groups, community organizations, veteran’s organizations, and active duty military groups/units

* Your group must provide transportation to and from Parris Island.  The driver must be licensed and possess registration and proof of insurance for their vehicles

* After you fill out your form and contact the base you can request permission to eat at the base mess hall and other dining facilities

* Many local hotels have deals on room rates for groups and they will guide you through the process of setting aside rooms for your group members.  Some will even help you with a form letter to mail to your group members with information on how to reserve their rooms and other important information
