Papaya Thai and Sushi Bar

My daughter loves Papaya for their fresh sushi especially their grouper roll and ebi roll. I don’t eat a lot of sushi, I’m more of a California roll kinda gal but every time Nicole offers me a taste, I try and usually like it, especially if it is all cooked. 🙂 Papaya has much more than sushi though. We dined there this weekend and delighted in both the service and the delicious food.
We started with Papaya Tasting, an appetizer with a little bit of everything like Chicken Satay (chicken with peanut sauce), steamed dumplings in sweet teriyaki sauce, shrimp and calamari tempura and spring rolls. In the center we found refreshing cucumber salad. I liked it so much I will most likely order it every time I visit Papaya’s!
For dinner my husband feasted on Thai Surf and Turf a dinner of two tender lamb chops and a large salmon portion with organic vegetables, and green and yellow curry sauces. I had California roll. For dessert we ordered sticky rice and mango, a delightful combination of sticky rice, sweet coconut sauce and sliced mango, yum!
They have beer and wine and all the goodies of a full-service bar including Lychee Martini’s and other exotic flavored drinks. So if you want an elegant dining experience with a comfortable atmosphere try Papaya. If you show them your military ID you can receive 10% off your meal but don’t forget to be a generous tipper!
